In this post, we’ll show you how to update an existing request (or work order) that you submitted, or was submitted on your behalf.

Anytime you want to communicate with your management or maintenance group regarding requests you’ve submitted you’ll want to do so through the work order you already have open. You may have been asked to provide additional information to property management, or you may want to get the status of pending work. Your open work orders aggregates communication for work orders within them so that they’re easily referenced in the future.

Viewing and Updating Existing Requests

In this example, you’ll learn how to respond to management to provide approval for work that has a charge.

The outline of steps is as follows:

  1. Log in to your portal (you should already have your ID and Password, and know how to log in)
  2. Select the “Replies” from the category of work orders, on the left side of your portal desktop
  3. Locate the work order in question from the work order list on the right side of your deskp
  4. Click on the work order number that matches the request you’re interested in

    Pro Tip: Take a couple of moments to review the running chronology of communication and activity to ensure that you’re up to date with what’s gone on with it.

  5. From within the work order, locate the “Reply” button, towards the top of the work order, on the left side, and click it
  6. When the reply screen pops up, fill in your reply and click submit
